Freelance SEO Writer Terms and Conditions
Engagement:
The Writer agrees to provide SEO writing services to your company as an independent contractor. This engagement does not create an employer-employee relationship between the parties.
Scope of Work:
The Writer agrees to perform SEO writing services as outlined in the project brief provided by your company. Any additional services or changes to the scope must be agreed upon in writing.
Payment:
Compensation for services will be agreed upon for each project and outlined in the project brief. Payment will be made 30 days after the invoice date via bank transfer.
Ownership of Work:
The Writer acknowledges that all work produced during the engagement, including but not limited to articles, blog posts, and other content, becomes the exclusive property of your company. The Writer agrees not to claim authorship or use the work for personal or commercial purposes.
Confidentiality:
The Writer agrees to keep all project details and information confidential. This includes but is not limited to client information, project specifics, and any proprietary information belonging to your company.
Non-Compete:

During the term of this engagement and for an agreed timeframe following its termination, the Writer agrees not to engage in similar SEO writing services for the company’s direct competitors.
Revisions and Edits:
The Writer agrees to make reasonable revisions and edits to their work based on feedback provided by your company. Excessive modifications may result in a renegotiation of compensation.
Termination:
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice. Upon termination, the Writer agrees to promptly return any materials, documents, or information related to the project.
Indemnification:
The Writer agrees to indemnify and hold your company harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from the Writer’s work or a breach of these terms.
Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes arising from this engagement will be resolved through negotiation in good faith. The parties agree to pursue mediation if a resolution cannot be reached.
Amendments:
These terms may be amended only in writing and signed by both parties.
By accepting a project from Digital Writer, I, the Writer, acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
